Treasure Island

Of all the hotels in Las Vegas Treasure Island is perhaps the most impressive from its first impression.  Large pirate ships are located at the front of the hotel and several times a night a sensational pirate battle takes place, the special effects have to be seen to be believed making this free show an absolute must. Treasure Island or “t.i.” as it is commonly known is a pirate themed hotel, to some this may sound somewhat tacky but it is not. The standards here are excellent and it is a great example of a four star hotel, the eating options are great and while the hotels theme will make it ideal for kids the entertainment options will not disappoint for adults either. Another great bonus of this hotel is its location, linked to Mirage by a free monorail and Venetian, Caesars Palace and many other resorts within easy reach it is a great base for any holiday in Las Vegas. Accommodation

All rooms at Treasure Island feature floor to ceiling windows offering superb views of the strip or the spring mountain range, even the standard guest rooms are furnished to a high standard with hand crafted furniture and marble bathrooms with either two queens or one king-size bed. The luxury suite is an excellent upgrade option and these rooms include a separate living area, two marble bathrooms, a whirlpool tub, and great music system. Restaurants

Dining at Treasure Island gives you several great options. There are some excellent fine dining restaurants here and some great places for quick eats giving you loads of options. The Steak House is superb and in great state of art surrounding provides an ideal venue an is one of the best on the strip. Whichever mouth-watering steak you choose it will be cooked to perfection in these wonderful surroundings. Social House provides a live DJ as you enjoy excellent sushi and other eastern delights in this modern hip restaurant. Kahunaville is a tropical oasis and a great casual option and offers fantastic signature cocktails from the flamboyant bartenders. This is also a great option in summer as the outdoor area is open overlooking the pool. The coffee shop has a laid back atmosphere and makes for a great choice for lunch or just as the name suggests a coffee and chat with friends. Loads of other dining options are available at t.i. and this resort will not disappoint.

Entertainment

Sirens if t.i. is the fantastic and amazing free show that takes place several times each evening at the entrance to Treasure Island. The music, story and visual effects are sensational and this short show gives an excellent insight into the rest of the resort. Mystere is Treasure Islands signature resident show, another masterpiece from Cirque Du Soleil this entertainment extravaganza enters you into a different world of vibrant colours and music, this show has been voted the best in Vegas several times by different sources.
