Located at the northern end of the strip is this great circus themed resort, live trapeze artists fly overhead as you gamble making this a unique place to stay or at least visit. Circus Circus is also a great value option and although the rooms and facilities of the hotel do not match what some of the newer resorts have to offer this is a great base and provides excellent value for money. The hotel is huge and has 3770 rooms all with cable television, iron and ironing board and hairdryers. Some of the rooms have fantastic views of the strip and all provide a comfy affordable option. This resort even has its own motor home (RV) park which can be hard to find in central Las Vegas. Entertainment Obviously as the name suggests the theme here is all things circus related. There are world class circus acts of all types to watch here and this entertainment is free of charge, this makes this hotel a great choice for families. The Adventuredome offers a five acre indoor theme park full of thrilling rides to keep everyone entertained in all weathers including an indoor rollercoaster! |
Casino This is a large casino with over 100,000 sq ft of floor space offering every game you could wish for in a fun environment, the décor does not match that of other resorts but with lower table limits and plenty of slot machine options it is a great value gaming choice and the limits are amongst the lowest on the strip so if you just want a quick flutter to experience Vegas gambling then this could well be the choice for you. |
Dining The steak house at Circus Circus is perhaps the biggest surprise. In a resort that does not match the best in all other areas this restaurant is considered by many to be the best steak house in Las Vegas. It also offers a great atmosphere with a superb cooking station where you can view your delicious steak being grilled as you await your mouth watering meal, this restaurant is simply superb in every way. The other dining options here are not as good, the buffet is more basic than others but is great value for a family meal. Other dining choices include a Mexican, a pizzeria and a grill but there are better options for restaurants of these types elsewhere on the strip. It is the Steakhouse that stands out here and this is a must on any visit to Las Vegas no matter where you are staying. |
Nightlife
Luna Y sol is the nightspot here with a Latin flavour. This provides a great value nightspot and some excellent private booths, maybe not one of the best in Vegas but not nearly as expensive as some of the clubs in the newer resorts. It is certainly worth a visit as the music and entertainment are different to other night spots in the area and the cocktails are great.
Overall Circus Circus does not compete with the standards set elsewhere but it is a great value well located option that ideally suits families and the more budget conscious. The rooms are fine but not remarkable and the same can be said for the facilities but for what you pay you do get a decent hotel. The main attraction here however and its biggest asset by far is the wonderful steak house. Below are some useful links to help you plan your trip to Circus Circus.
